Lxera Strengthens the Security of Its Customers' Data in Saudi Arabia in Partnership with Huawei Cloud
Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia — Lxera has announced a partnership with Huawei Cloud Saudi Arabia, through its authorised agent DDS, to move the hosting of its platform's data to data centres inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia — a step that strengthens data protection and privacy and supports the local digital infrastructure.
The partnership forms part of Lxera's ongoing work to develop its technical infrastructure and support the digital education and training ecosystem in the Kingdom, ensuring that the data of learners and trainers, along with educational content, is stored and hosted inside the Kingdom. This strengthens data protection and privacy, reduces the risk of unauthorised access or misuse of data, and protects customers from any practice that could threaten their privacy or the security of their information.
The move reflects Lxera's commitment to providing its customers with a more secure and reliable technical foundation, supporting the stability of the platform's services and improving the experience of institutions, learners and trainers across the Kingdom.
Anas Alhaqbani, Chief Executive Officer of Lxera, said:
"At Lxera we are committed to keeping our customers' data inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as part of our commitment to the highest standards of security and data protection. Our partnership with Huawei Cloud extends our continuing efforts to develop our technical infrastructure and keep pace with the rapid digital transformation the Kingdom is undergoing. We believe the Kingdom is moving decisively towards becoming an advanced regional hub for data hosting and technology services, and we intend for Lxera to be an active part of that direction."
Through this partnership, Lxera affirms its continuing commitment to developing its technical infrastructure inside the Kingdom, strengthening the reliability of its services, and delivering advanced educational and technology solutions that meet the needs of the Saudi market and support the Kingdom's move towards an advanced digital economy.
The step comes at a time when the Kingdom is seeing rapid expansion in cloud computing infrastructure and local data hosting, improving the readiness of institutions to deliver more secure and efficient digital services.
